Tutorial for Installing Free Amazon Kindle App

I just published my book, Tome of Victims, and have it on sale through Amazon; but, after talking with some friends and family members, I’ve come to realize that not everyone knows that you can download a free Kindle app for your PC or Mac devices.

So even if you don’t own a Kindle, you can still read Kindle books by just downloading the apps available for multiple devices (smart phones, tablets, computers, etc.) at the Amazon Kindle website.

Best part is, it actually is really simple to download and set-up. Most won’t even need more than this link to the Amazon Kindle’s download page, but I’ll do a written tutorial and a video just in case.

Tutorial

1. Go to the Amazon Kindle free reading app page.

2. Select the device you wish to install the free reading app to.

3. Once the downloader box pops up, click “save file.”

4. In the installer window, click “Run” and wait for the installer to install the app (it may take a few seconds to install, so be patient). The program will open once installed.
