I’ve been working on editing my
next book I’m going to try to publish. I’m going to try and publish this one in
print, as well as epublish it on the Kindle and the Nook. This story was
written quite recent opposed to my last published work “City of Town”.
Originally I wrote this next book as a creative writing sample for my grad
programs. I lengthened it into a novella, and I think it’s good enough to send
it out to some publishers.
Going through the manuscript again
is taking quite a while. I usually can finish edits like this in a day or two
when on the job with clients through Tomework, but editing my own stuff takes
longer. There’s less urgency prompting me to get it done, and by the time I
finish editing other people’s manuscripts, it’s hard to pick mine up at the end
of a long day of edits.
Here’s the book cover that I made
for it though.
This is the before shot…
And the after shot…
I worked it up in Photoshop.
I should make some time to work on
it though. Being busy is an overused excuse I hear all too often. I need to
start sending it out to publishers as soon as possible since the publishing
process can take months before my book ends up on store shelves.
Hey Joe. Not sure but I think I deleted your comment. ^^; Re-post it please, sorry again!
