It’s been a while. Cove being our
first child, I had no idea what I was in for. But I’m back to writing now. We’ve
got somewhat of a schedule together, enough so that I think I want to start
posting again. Just as a warning though, at the start, I may not be posting
daily like I was before we had our baby. My schedule is still strained, but not
so much that I can’t post once or twice a week.
First thing’s first. I wanted to
give an update on this baby of ours. Cove has drained our life blood. (I was
going to put, “has been a joy in our lives” which is true, but man he’s a
little tyrant.) I don’t know that there’s a louder baby out there. He’s very
vocal when he wants food or is uncomfortable. He’s given me and Nikki a run for
our money, and we don’t know what we would have done if we both were not at
home to take care of him. When it becomes too much for one of us, we just hand
him off to mommy or daddy.
It hasn’t all been earsplittingly sleepless
nights though; he has more cute sleepy and awake moments than bad. We’re happy
with our new addition to our family and are looking forward to helping him
along his path of life.
Work has been going well enough. I
had quite a work load at the time of Cove’s birth. I was even editing a
manuscript while I was in the hospital with Nikki and Cove. It’s slowed down a
bit now though (which I wish it hadn’t since I’m finally freeing up some time).
I’ve finished editing my next book
I’m going to try and get published. I was considering self-publishing for a
while there, but I think before I go that route, I’m going to send it off to
some publishers. I’ll make sure to blog about the process as it comes along.
That’s all the news I’ve got this
time. Just wanted to fire off a warning shot, letting you know I’m going to be
posting again. Till next time.

One of his many hysterical moments.

His super power? Morph Ball. I’m training him to be a galactic
bounty hunter.
